How to Use[edit]

Members can contribute Extra Details from the Edit Character page, or directly on a source profile.

Character details can range from height, weight, blood type, nationality, etc.

Series details can range from number of episodes, origin, licensing, etc. Staff member details can also be added to titles such as director, episode directors, key animators, designers, etc.

  1. Extra details you add can be edited or deleted by you. These will appear immediately in the moderation queue.
  2. Details will be reviewed and either approved or rejected by moderators and members with moderation powers.
  3. Approved details will be displayed in the character page. Pending details do not show up in the database.
Members found to be violating The Rules, and instructions from this wiki will have their submission privileges revoked. Vandalism is not acceptable.

Verification/Prove It[edit]

As of May 2021 we will be introducing a verification system called "Prove It". We accept character data from official website screenshots (with source link informed), manga panels, in-game screenshots, and anime screenshots (with timestamp).

There will be 3 levels of status.

  • 0 = Member Contributed Unverified Detail
  • 1 = Moderator Contributed Detail
  • 2 = Verified Detail

For a detail to reach Level 2 verified status, a screenshot of an official first hand source must be provided.

Screenshots of other wikis/fandom are not acceptable as sources.

How to Post Links[edit]

You can also add links to your proof, by posting the link in the comment area of the Prove It system. Remember to warn if the linked website is NSFW!

What Was My Edit Rejected?[edit]

ACDB maintains strict sourcing policies, and we strive for accuracy over quantity.

We do not accept proof links from websites such as:

  • Fandom pages
  • any fan wiki with lax moderation / without editing policy
  • NamuWiki
  • fansites
  • fanblogs

There might be a case where we accept proof from wikis, but only the strictly moderated ones such as Wikipedia.

Birthdays[edit]

Birthdays are fun ways to connect with characters and an important feature on ACDB. As stated before, ACDB values accuracy and credibly sourced content, specially in birthdays.

Due to many fan wikis allowing freely for anonymous visitors or new members to edit their content, it leads to many misunderstandings, flame wars and incorrect data to be shared among fans. Such content will not be allowed in ACDB. We do not accept birthdays without credible proof.

Birthdays[edit]

As of 2025, we do not accept birthdays without an official Prove it image or comments linking to official sources. You must verify your information is from an official source (author's social media posts, official manga chapter covers, anime eyecatches, official book, etc.) before submitting the birthday information.

Due to previous multiple accounts of abuse from freely editable wikis and Fandom pages, we do not accept screenshots from those websites as proof anymore. Please, do not submit wiki/Fandom screenshots.

Birthdays without proof will be rejected immediately.
